Immersing yourself in nature through a horseback ride or navigating the waters of Lake Sacacomie is a unique and penetrating experience, especially if done at sunset when the light of the setting sun envelops the whole landscape, embellishing the extraordinary and inimitable Canadian nature.

The largest of the entire deer family, which is distinguished from the other specimens by the shape of the antlers, or the horns of the males. The area is populated by many animals, including the brown bear, which guardedly and silently beats the woods. Their size is impressive, it can reach 300 kilograms and a length of two meters. However, there are also raccoons, curious for their appearance and way of moving always in search of food.

One of the most important waterways in Quebec is the San Mauricie River. The Mauricie region in its innermost part looks like a vast expanse of woods, lakes, and streams, a real paradise for those who love the outdoors. In the waters of its rivers and lakes live industrious animals such as the beaver.

A postcard landscape that sees numerous animal species; the flora and fauna show is truly magnificent. In this territory, there is the natural park of Cap Jaseux in the large region nicknamed the kingdom. A dense forest stretches for about 100 kilometers, the undisputed habitat of elk, porcupine, deer, lynx, marmot, and bear. A peculiarity of this reserve is that here you can stay in the trees.

The Kingdom of the Whales

Following the course of the imposing San Lorenzo River, we reach the kingdom of whales. Its brackish waters are in fact rich in plankton which these extremely fascinating animals feed on. Five different types of whales can be seen here, including the Beluga the white whale, which lives here all year round.

In Gaspè there is the famous red fire lighthouse of La Martre, it is a very particular lighthouse, its structure is made of wood and works through interlocking gears and its color is such as to make it visible even when in winter this area is completely covered with snow.

Canada offers an evocative and surprising journey, made of colors and emotions. Each day ends with the light of the sun that becomes more and more hot paints a unique scenario.
